Accepting is harder. My natural instinct since I spent so long as a police officer is to mistrust everyone at first. After I get to know a person, then no. Occasionally, I meet someone who I have the "gut" feeling on and I trust them right off the bat.

It's harder for me to accept. I have a bad trust issue.I have difficulty in believing people are genuine, anymore. I don't have a problem giving my friendship to others (by being there for them,if they need me) because I know I'm a trustworthy person.

Accept because I have had so many friends that have moved or left me for other people because they changed and I didn't. I would just like friends that I didn't have to worry bout moving or anything. That's why I like the internet. No matter where a person is on here, they can still talk and stuff

Both. I go thru phases of childishly offering my naive little hand in friendship only to have it slapped away...and stonily refusing it when offered because I think they want to use me for some selfish purpose. I justify this by telling myself I don't want any friends, just my family. And that,my dear, sweet,Crazy Farmer, is why I love my cyber friends on Y/A so much. The only thing I can offer you here is answers and points! xxxoxxx!

the word friend is thrown around so loosely that it means nothing today. a friend is someone u can always depend on. i can give it and i can accept it but i don't expect anything from it, thay way u rn't disappointed
