In recent years, young people have begun to use the term "preppy," often shortened to "prep" as a noun, as slang to describe those who try to appear better off financially or class-wise than others in a middle class environment. In many regions, especially amongst young people, this usage has virtually replaced the traditional meaning of the word.

To me a preppy look is a greater classic form and that i like that. type by no ability is going out of vogue!! you may get preppy seems from any save basically by employing the way you place concern mutually. A difficulty-freed from the preppy look - dressy denims, chinos, crisp white gown shirt, narrow pink belt, pencil black skirt, pink severe heels, skinny v-neck sweater to placed on w/ a camisole.

Depends on the area you live in. For most schools basically if you wear clean clothes that are a color other than black, that would make you a prep. Also if you wear anything from AE, AF or Hollister that would make you a prep.

so many preople call me preppy and im not.....its stereotyping...if someone else is not preppy and they call you preppy, they probably want to be preppy.....i understand your question (i think) im not good @ describing either!....sometimes its the way you act or how you dress (like all pastels and soft colors and ALL abercrombie, ae...that kind of stuff!)......
