How come I have never received a free Yahoo! gift? Just because I am Canadian or something?

What? Yahoo Answers has been giving away free gifts? nobody told me and I have been scrolling through these questions and answers long enough to be sure someone would have said something before now.

Hey, I met one of your kind at the campground yesterday. Nice fellow. We had a nice chat while I was fishing. I always like running into Canadians when I'm traveling. They're always so friendly and fun to hang out with.

IMO, there is nothing you could do to change the mind of this woman. Your religion and ethnicity shouldn't matter whatsoever but to her it does and it will continue to matter. You should accept it and put your energy into your relationship. When you see the woman, treat her with respect. But don't feel you have to go out of your way for her. In the vast scheme of things, it really doesn't matter whether she accepts you or not. Since your girlfriend is very much in love with you, she will most likely chose you over her controlling mother. It will be her mother's loss if she decides not to be apart of your lives.

It is somewhat understandable. No one would spend money for shipping that costs more the then the gifts itself for countless number of people.
