Anyone have Horse treat recipies?

Question

I have 3 horses and a pony. I need some simple horse treat recipies. I dont have any apples or carrots. I have corn flakes, oats, tomatoes, lettuce, and stuff like that. Can anyone give me a site or a recipie that I could make??

I went to the pasture this evening. My mules and horses love apples, carrots and oats. I just cut them up and put them in a baggie then I hand them out at the end of the visit. My problem is they can smell them as soon as I walk up! They follow me around and sometimes they get pushy so be careful. Apples are horse "crack"...very addictive! LOL!

Make simple oatmeal cookies. Horses love 'em. you can add molasses or other stuff if you want, but you definitely don't have to. I like to make them non-cookie shaped so they look more treat-y.

some horses are actually allergic to tomatoes ):
but.........................my favorite thing to do
was put some oats in a bowl, chop up some apples&carrots, and dumor horse treats into the bowl, & just a little vegetable oil to make it mix together, shake it, & let them eat it---great treat (: & easy to make!
