what are the costs and basic assets needed to start a new ebusiness (in software-related industry), such as the one that sells online many 3rd party applications. so it's like online seller.
let's say that i've got these 3 types of software ready to be sold. but I still have to find other applications to be sold as well (to get much profits later on). the problem is I only have little money to start the biz. and I can't go public since it's too big to ask for public money. and I can't get a loan from bank as well, since it's too risky for them. what could be the assumptions here to get money from private firm? what could be the assets and liability here (in software-related ebusiness) that could approach to private firm's minds?

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* Starting an Online Business For Dummies, 4th Edition by Greg Holden
* How to Start and Maintain A Successful Online Business by Kelly Thornton
* The Complete E-Commerce Book: Design, Build, and Maintain a Successful Web-Based Business by Janice Reynolds

There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Write down what you are looking for, what you would like do and have done. Take this information to a lawyer/pre-paid legal and have them help write up a proposal. This proposal is what you would use to approach private firms and show that you are serious about your business. Most businesses will not give you the time of day without a business proposal and ideas for the future of the company.
Costs: Depends on what software you are selling, the company you use to build your website, and how much product you want to have on hand. Always think about Supply and Demand...if you carry high priced items you will spend more to sell them (like Microsoft software)

I was working for Corporate America for many years. I grew increasingly tired of being at their mercy whether it be traveling when they required me to (giving no consideration to my home life) or giving me merit increases based on what they think I'm worth, never mind how hard I was working. I also tried Mary Kay before but found the inventory I had to carry, and the number of parites I had to hold to turn any kind of profit, never really equalled out. So, I got out of that.

I am so thankful I found a WAH opportunity to be my own boss and do something I truly love to do: Help people. Our mission statement is: "Enhancing the lives of those we touch by helping people reach their goals". How great is that! I help people reach their goals: financially, physically, personally, and environmentally!

Although I work for myself, I am never by myself. I joined a great team and we are proud to be partnered with an International Wellness Company that has credentials second to none and has won many awards!

This is a company that allows hundreds of thousands of people to not only improve the quality of our environment, enjoy better health, save time and money, but also gives people like YOU and me, an option to get control of our finances utilizing a proven business model. This is a strong, stable, legitimate company we can believe in and trust. They are continually expanding worldwide and continue to grow, year after year for the last 21 years.

I know you're question asked about software-rlated ebusiness, but this is an opportunity you could do in conjunction with your software-related ebusiness, at least part-time to help supplement your income.

Hope this information was helpful.

Starting an e-business is a challenge. When I started selling Websites, I plugged into a company with a proven track record that has done thousands of them with small to medium businesses, and has over 250 individuals in a tech support team to back me up. I don't belong to a web developer, so, alot of the costs to marketing the sites are cut because everything comes in packages. So, theirs no cost for Chat Room Tools, Contact Manager Tools, Domain Tools, instant changes to the site, E-commerce tools, filing cabinet, flash editor, shopping cart, site translation tools, stat tools, and additional tech support. The website owner/business owner has complete control of their site, without shut downs due to modifications. All at a fraction of what the average business pays for the same quaility. Setting up your business on a site such as this would be very affordable for you to start. Check it out.
