I think they should be able to because women need to have treats too. Plus, drinking soda can spoil their appetite so they will eat less and not gain as much weight.

Soda Pop is all fine and good, but here's the rub; only the diet soda will keep the inches off the hips; anyways I never drink it. I don't like it at all.

Bad thinking on your part. Too many sugar calories, the pop needs to be diet to work your chauvinistic plan.

You are so sweet letting us have soda!
You treat us women so well, and we are lucky to have a man like you in this world to remind us of our duties.
Without smart men like you, who knows how many feminist women there would be!
I love you so much! XOXO

ps. I don't think Cobo even has a right to answer this question, she doesn't even know proper grammer.

Sorry my friend, but even I won't go there on this one!

No one should really drink much pop. It is loaded with calories and sugar. And the diet drinks with Aspartane, well that stuff is very deadly and it is criminal, literally, that it is even allowed to be used in foods!

I NEVER have ANYTHING to do with Coca Cola because of the many murders they are committing to break the union of south american workers.

If you have a social conscience you will end up switching pops if you must have the stuff.

The average American consumes over six hundred 12 oz. servings per year. Children consume more than adults. The average young male between the ages of 12 and 29 consumes over 160 gallons of soft drinks a year band are the largest consumers of soft drinks. Many receive over ten percent of their total daily calories from soft drinks.

Even just one or two soft drinks a day can increase one’s risk for obesity, diabetes, tooth decay, osteoporosis, nutritional deficiencies, heart disease, and many neurological disorders.

Pop is “empty calories being composed mostly of filtered water with diet colas containing close to a hundred percent water. Most of the calories are from refined sugars with no other nutritionally beneficial components. Dr. Charles Best, the discoverer of insulin, claims that teenagers who consume too many soft drinks have cirrhosis of the liver similar to what chronic alcoholics have. There is no cure for cirrhosis of the liver except to receive a new liver through a transplant. Don’t forge the poisonous effects of aspartame.

Dark colas such as Coke and Pepsi are most acidic. To neutralize a glass of cola, it takes 32 glasses of high pH alkaline water. This results in gastronomic distress characterized by increased stomach acid levels. It causes the inflammation of the stomach and erosion of the stomach lining. These symptoms are caused by caffeine and acids such as acetic, fumaric, gluconic and phosphoric acids. The combination and strength of these acids are so strong that when a drain is clogged a plumber can a soft drink, or dissolve the corrosion on a corroding car battery.

This also creates erosion of the gastric lining. The phosphorous in the bubbles fights with hydrochloric acid in the stomach and causes the stomach to be ineffective. When the stomach can’t digest food, the person will have indigestion, gassiness, or bloating. Soft drinks deplete the amount of oxygen in the human body thus increasing the risk for cancer.

Then there is correlation between pop consumption and the increased risk of bone fractures and osteoporosis. The sugar, carbon dioxide, and phosphoric acid leech minerals from bones and weakens them. The phosphoric acid dissolves calcium from the bones. This is compounded by the fact people drink pop instead of milk. This is worse for women than men. Men consume more milk than women. The high consumption of carbonated beverages and the declining consumption of milk by girls and women results in proneness to osteoporosis in later life

Caffeine acts as a stimulant to the central nervous system. Large amounts of caffeine consumption can cause diseases and disorders such as insomnia, nervousness, anxiety, irritability, and deviations from the normal heart rate. It is NOT good for children. It is addictive. It increases the excretion of calcium in urine, which increases the risk for osteoporosis in heavy caffeine consumers. Some preliminary studies show that caffeine increases the risk of birth defects.

Many soft drinks contain caramel coloring to allow them to have their dark appearance. Polyethylene glycol does this. Glycol is used in antifreeze and is a carcinogen.

Pop causes cavities. Caries are caused by bacteria in dental plaque. The bacteria attach to teeth and produce high amounts of acid from sugars and other types of acid. . The sweet in a diet changes the nature and thickness of plaque. There is demineralization.

So I am thinking no one should drink the stuff when there are water and fruit juices and other more nutritious things to choose from.
