Like you, soon as I can. Sometimes I check, says please wait 4hrs, and it says your ? 4hrs. ago. Go figure.

That usually depends on what time of the day I ask a question. If I ask early enough, I usually choose best answer within 4 to 8 hours.

I wait until I stop getting new answers. Then I read over all the answers. Finally, I choose the best one.
