Exhaled air contains carbon dioxide and water vapor, among other molecules.

It's a problem to lose water through breathing if a person is in a desert environment where drinking water is not available. People need water for chemical reactions and for cooling our bodies through evaporation of perspiration, as well as for circulating materials in our bloodstream, removing wastes, .....

The same problems may exist in a very cold environment if liquid water is not available for drinking. Eating snow can lower the body temperature.

The air we exhale has more carbon dioxide. Usually, it is warmer and moister.

I'm not sure of whay you mean by a problem...
This is the reason your car windows fog up on a cold morning. In the desert, you lose water this way and, if the air is over 100 degrees F, your body has to work to cool this down. Likewise in a cold environment, your body has to expend energy to replace that which is lost in breathing.
