Okay let's start by correcting all of your errors. Abortion was not banned. One, I repeat, one form of abortion was banned except to save the life of the mother. This form of abortion is called a partial birth abortion. A woman's labor is induced and then before the head can be delivered a tool is inserted into the baby's skull and its brains are sucked out. Now that the baby is dead it is delivered. Frankly, I don't see why it was not completely banned as labor and delivery are still done and if that did not kill the mother why would delivering a live infant kill the mother. All other forms of abortion are still legal.

Which brings us to your question which has no basis in fact. Perhaps you should become more educated on these things before you ask your questions.

I am a woman and very glad. All of this hooey about being raped with the morning after pill. Give it a big break. A woman that carries a child til right before delivery date then has it killed when it is in the birth canal by jabbing it in the head and sucking out it's brains so it's head will collapse. Does no one do research anymore? We are not talking about a 3 or even 4 month pregnancy here but a full term pregnancy. With this dear people is something called the C-section. The mothers life is not in emanate danger.

Abortion should not be banned...especially not by a group of high-class men.
I am not glad. That is stupid. There are reasons women should be able to have an abortion...
I cannot have kids. The stress from pregnancy would leave my body too weak to go into labor, and I would most likely die. So...if I got pregnant, these men are telling me that I should die giving birth, and leave my boyfriend as a single dad? How wonderful.

Partial birth abortion is a horrific procedure that shouldn't be performed. No matter who made the ruling, men or women, thank God, I am glad!
Many of the people on here should try to be more informed about what is going on in our world, some don't know what the heck you are talking about.

I'm glad, for one -- it's a mere slippery slope argument to claim that banning partial-birth abortions will lead to the banning of all abortion. And I believe it is discriminatory to state that only women can have opinions on this matter. Many women don't agree with my opinion, so why would I want those particular women to speak for me (simply because they are women), rather than the men with whom I do agree?
