I tried to stay friends with mine but apparently he doesn't want any contact..it hurts because I miss him and sometimes I wonder if he misses me too..even though deep down inside I know he doesn't because he never cared about me the way I did him. What about you?

i dont keep contact with my ex's either. i dont miss any of them. you shouldnt either. if you do, then dont date anyone else until you are over it. people who usually want to remain friends with ex's are those who feel bad about the breakup and use that as a reason to not feel so bad about breaking someones heart. i bet you dumped him huh?

In a sense, I do miss him. But not in an intimate way. I miss the friendship within the relationship. After he broke up with me, he said we could be friends for a while. That meant, if he found someone else, he would let me go. I was naive and thought we would somehow get back together. I now realize that it's not possible. I know him all too well. And when he says he's done with something, he is done. He's contacted me a few times and I know what he wants. I hate ignoring people, but I feel that I can't move on unless I do. Besides, I don't think it'll be right if I start dating someone and I'm still "friends with my ex." For me, life doesn't work that way. I have to remain true to the person I am with or want to be with.

Yes sometimes I'll think back to the good times I had with ex boyfriends, but you gotta remember not to dwell on those memories. If it still hurts, you're not over him. He doesn't want contact because he's already moved on and yes, that hurts too. You may hurt for awhile, but you need to move on yourself. If you're not ready to get back into the game, take up a hobby to occupy your mind. It will pass with time. He's not the last guy you'll ever love, you will probably have many until you find the right one. Relationships take practice, trial and error. Such is life. You'll be okay.

No because there a ex for a reason and it's in the past. I don't feel a need to waste my time worrying about something that probably wasn't right to begin with. To be honest it's mostly women that want to keep in touch with an ex most men move on.

Yes I will admit I miss my ex and no matter how hard I tried to be civil the hurt feelings of his betrayal were always on the surface. I loved him more than life but he didnt feel it as much as me. Love sucks doesnt it

Sometimes. My heart pulls one way but my common sense keeps me grounded. I sometimes do ache to be with him, but I start to think and I realize that I'm honestly better off this way. The relationship wasn't a satisfying, or benefiting one, and I would only take a back step in my life if i decided to go back

it took a while but me and my ex are friends now after being split up for 2 years. i still miss him as more than a friend some days but i know we could never be a couple again so i just try to cherish our friendship

it sometimes feels as though he doesnt care about you.... but if u two really likes each other or even loved, then hes got to have some feelings for you even if he does deny it... boys dont like to admit they have feelings because well... they are boys... dont sweat it cause u will meet someone else who will treat you differently .... if me and my guy broke up yes i would miss him... cause i am in love of course i would.... we will always love each other no matter what happens... most likely its the same for you that you will have strong feelings

look i do not miss being his gf but i am not going to front i love his sex! whew! if i could just have sex with him w/o seeing his face or put it in a doggy bag and pinch off pieces at a time i would. he was a dirtbag it took for us to go through some drama for me to see a side that was so ignorant that i didnt want any part of it.
