so do you guys think that it is abuse and what actions do you think should be taken. me personally my parents screamed at me crazy too but i never felt abuse.lol actually i think that its not abnormal the lil gir from his rage seem to be a lil ***** that gets her way from her mom and daddy is trying to keep tabs on her, and she doesnt like it. what you think? i know im gonna get some nastiness so bring it on!

Oh, YEAH, I heard about it! I think even if you had all your machines turned off, you might have heard about it anyway! The first thing I think is: "Boy, what some people(?) will stoop to and then have the NERVE to call it news??? (This is really none of anyone (out side of the family) 's business....) I agree with you; the little darling seems to be working her Daddy's last nerve because she CAN. IS this the child that Al went to court over, having shaving-creamed a paparrzi's camera? (Suuure, the jury believed he was acting out of fear for the safety...) they thought what I think: These people (?) need to be curbed a LOT! You GO!, Alex... I think that message was an angy Daddy being dissed by his child! I think if you can show me where it doesn't sound like pure hurt feelings...? That darling child needs to be taught better manners, and a little respect. (And of course, Al needs to curb his tongue when speaking to ANYone....) People, this is a non-issue, and anyone who thinks this is CHILD ABUSE needs to reexamine the term! (Mental/Schmental) there is no abuse here! The child got the response she wanted, now she knows Daddy cares..! She is a very young child, who maybe could use closer supervision?

This incident speaks to the immaturity of all involved, especially the parents.
Alec Baldwin has been long known to have a temper and a very self-serving and smug attitude and his ex has not behaved in a much more mature manner either. The parents are in the wrong first, and now the poor child is being dragged into it.
I am sure that she has learned to manipulate in order to get her parents attention, especially her fathers attention; as that is what she sees the "responsible adults" in her life doing.
Children learn what they are taught, and both of her parents need to be concentrated on her, and not keeping their names in the papers and their pictures in the tabloids by this childish and over long drawn out divorce and custody battle.
It seems to be an abusive situation on Alecs part, but we honestly do not have any idea what else has gone on, what messages he has received from either Kim or Ireland that contributed to this particular outburst.
He needs to have some anger management counseling and he had Kim both need to stop acting (ha, no pun intended...as it would be BAD acting) like two spoiled brats who are so starved for personal attention that they cannot grow beyond the mental age of a young teenager.....memememememe and so forth.
Who is the bigger loser in all of this, Ireland of course; unfortunately.
This goes to prove that money and fame and "power" does not make many people any more intelligent in their personal lives.
I can only pray that Ireland has other strong positive influences in her life, so that she doesn't end up ruined by all of this.

Regardless of his being a celebrity he seems to be taking it out on his daughter for the problems he has with his ex wife. Nobody how mad he was at her he should never have called her a little pig and talk bad about her mother. Remember this is not just any dad he has a bad temper and this has been know for years. To threaten her that he is coming out there and taking care of her knowing his voilent history makes you wonder if he is fit to be a father. Both of these parents need counceling and parenting classes because they are using this child as a pawn against each other. The tape should have never been leaked because now she will be tormented in class do to who her father is and what was said. I feel bad for their child they are sick parents.

im not sure what really happened that alec went that far. he must be really furious of what ireland did. i know its in the court right now, they should settle it soon. i know they are having a bitter custody of her and maybe the daughter did something that hurt his case. usually if the child lies and create idea or comment that makes anyone look bad and actually its all lie, of course, i will be rampaging and ranting like a mad woman. but if the girl did that in purpose, she is only hurting herself. cause if i am alec, she cause a havoc in the case, i will let it go and that will be her lost. i will not trust her and probably said good riddance. unless it is being coached by the other party to do so, that is hard to tell..

I listened to the tape. There's no doubt that these parents are using this kid to punish each other. I don't like using the word abuse for situations like this, because it minimizes real abuse. But my guess is that both parents are in the wrong here. Someone needs to sit them down and insist they behave themselves for the sake of that child.

The only reason that he seems to be a target of assumed "child abuse" is because of his fame. Trust me, I've heard way worse than calling a kid a "little pig" and your right, when I was a kid I can tell you it certainly was a lot rougher than that little girl got. That isn't anything compared to 20-30 years ago. There's worse parenting than that going on.

i agree with you.... time for parents to stop telling their children "bad" things about the non-custodial parents and let their personal feelings get in the way of the parent- child bond. That child didn't ask to be born, she didn't cause the divorce. but she is being played like a pawn in a chess game.... cut it out Kim and deal with personal issues in private! AND don't humiliate your child just to help yourself... that is soooo narsicisstic and self-centered... Kim should lose custody as what she did is just as bad.... she taught her daughter it's ok to break the law so long as its to your benefit....
