WI, Brian Lara has announcesed his retierment from ODIs after this WC.
PK, Inzamam-ul-Haq has retired from ODIs after their lost in WC.
but INDIA............................
Although Dravid has lost his captain C........... Anyway I think no one doesn't want to retire from their team.

Sachin,Dravid,Ganguli are all batsmen
batsmen generally tend to retire after 36(especially indian)
since they know they are at the end of their careers they dont want to rush it up and loose those all important endorsements that would help them earn billions.

Good question! Actually the people of sub-continent are not realistic and players are no exception as they are human beings first. They don't want to accept the reality that its time to call it a day and let the young blood come to the fore. Secondly it has become a tradition of sub-continent that big name are always leaving the arena after being humiliated by the general public.

Because they may be confident that they are good to play cricket for some more time and the time for their retirement has still not come.
By the way, Rahul Dravid has not lost captaincy as he is still the Captain.
