I wanna record my old Vhs, Video Hi8 & Mini dvd into a regular size dvd..Thanks,,All answer will be appreciated...

All DVD recorders are pretty much the same these days.
Always record at the best possible quality.
Make sure you get one with DV input if you plan to use it to transfer DV tapes.
Don't worry about DVD-R vs DVD+R; however, for best compatibility always record in DVD-video format and finalize as needed after you are done.
