I think a lot of people are missing the point of this question. Of course Yahoo and the people on here could care less if Chinese citizens speak freely here, but does the Chinese STATE regulate their speech? I'm not quite sure about the answer, but there have been many recent examples in the popular press of governmental interference with the activities of Chinese citizens who are doing things we wouldn't think of as out of the ordinary in the US. For instance, I think outspoken critics of the government in China could have a problem.
