Have you ever heard about Marguerite Yourcenar?

If you did then can you please tell me about her short story "Magie" (Magic)? What's the subject of it?

I've read some of the folk-fairy tales by Yourcenar and enjoyed them, although they have a bit of a negative edge, people having heads chopped off etc. In The Abyss there is sort of the sense of traveling from one town to the next, a kind of almost guidebook, but, again, with sort of an odd edge. The imagery is terrific but I haven't read Magie.
