Since he did not respond or show up for divorce court, you were awarded everything. Unless its written in th divorce decree that he gets something then hes out of luck unless out of the goodness of your heart, you want him to have it. Hecan legally challenge you in small claims court but then his no show actions and the divorce decree speak for itself. Legally, you dont have to give him a thing. Notify the authorities if he tries to take it. The law is on your side. Good luck

Going alongside with "Worf". more beneficial than what they're nicely worth. The Customs ought to truly be what you paid for each thing. Plus once you get the following you are able to could put in a water heater for the washer & you electric powered bill will skyrocket with the dryer. BTW I DO understand both a million/5 ton air conditioner score some the following do no longer

give him the TV. If you keep the washer and dryer you'll save a lot of money by not going to the laundrymatt. Think of how much money he's going to put out getting his laundry done

Your divorce decree should clearly state if he gets anything, if so what percentage, always rely on your court documents, and obey them to the letter. Do not play "Lets Make A Deal" with your ex, it only leads to trouble.

I wouldnt give him anything until you meet up in court. A judge will decide on the marrital property. If he continues to call I would tell him it will be settled by the judge. If he still continues to call, contact your lawyer about filing harrassments charges against him. Leave a paper trail, it never hurts!

Change the locks so he can't just walz in and take them, if he breaks in and takes them then call the police.
If the ex calls, tell him about his lack of action to the petition, that the divorce was settled in his absence, who your lawyer is and to contact your lawyer and then hang up.

My ex left in August the yr of our breakup. Set up an apt, made travel plans for Europe that winter. Mean while I continued to raise our two children and work full time. He had the balls to call me at work and state to me he wanted the suitcases..............well you can guess what I told him.
If your ex wants those luxuries he can go buy them. Just say NO.

By law, if the divorce is finalized then you do not have to give him anything. However, it might help prevent future problems if you simply let him have the TV. It is a simple concession between two people.

If all he wants is the TV and/or washer and dryer then give them to him and count your blessings.
