No showering, shaving, hair cuts, fingernail/toenail trimming, brushing teeth, trimming nose hairs - until the Flames win their next playoff series.

I say do it. If we win, you'll be a champ (only until Tuesday right?). If we lose, wait until Detroit is in Calgary next, go to the game and hug Kris Draper or Bert if he's still on the team.

lol that's a pretty tall order man. I'd like to think the Flames will win in 7, but I'm not gonna risk anything for it.

I just hate Detroit fans really. They claim they're the center of the hockey universe,.. when how many talented players have come from Michigan. About 5 times more GOOD NHL players have come from Alberta (a province about 1/10th Michigan's population). If anyone knows about hockey it's us not them.

They ALL school you. Michigan would never stand a chance against us if it was just talent alone. So as our team loses (unfortunatley I think they will), I realize it's sad... but this at least saves face and keeps pride in my city, my province, and my home. You may ask why I take hockey so seriously... I'm sure the boys above could answer that question too.... No actually it is kinda sad.

I hope you do.....then go out to eat at a really nice restaurant. However, if the flames do not win against Detroit, they will not be in the playoffs for the next couple of years so I don't know if going 700-900 days without any type of self preservation is very smart.

Well good for you Mathew. You can get information of the net, and post it alphabetically. How many of those players listed, have you even heard of, let alone watched play. The big difference, is there are a bunch of other sports the Americans play, so, we all know, our Canadian neighbors, live, breathe, eat and sleep hockey. As an American, it is my sport as well. Its what i have always loved to play, and the only real sport I even cared to watch. Yes, I am not narrow minded enough, unlike you, to care where these players come from, where they were born, or where they currently, play, or live. I enjoy the game too much, to worry about things, that just dont matter. Because a team, is in an American city, there is a good chance, there is no American born player on that team. So ,why the hell do you think this is a cananda/USA thing? Save it for the Olympics, so you can assemble your dream team, and have your one moment in the sun. Start trying to love and enojy the game, more than you hate us Americans, you might find it to bve alot more fun. Quit thinking that Canada is living in the shadow of the USA, they are not. The USA is not stealing your game, because about 75% of the US population, doesnt give a damn about hockey. Outside of the states, that border Canada, the other states, really dont know or care about Canada. But places like here in Detroit, We embrace our nieghbors fron the other side of the Detroit River, and they are welcome to the Joe, Hockeytown Cafe, and anywhere else in this city. I enjoy watching hockey, with true fans of the game. I have even gone to Canada, to watch game sin Windsor, with people I know, just for the atmosphere. Lets drop thew nonscense, and enjoy the game. I am done here!!!

Well, you might have to wait 'til next year and pray that the Flames don't get put against the #1 seed again. I'd suggest waiting 'til at least the start of the next hockey season to start such a thing. Otherwise, people will definitely try not to come around you.

i hope u arent married, cause i guarentee your wife would divorce you for that. the flames wont be winning a playoff series until Wayne Gretgey comes back to hockey as a player

Only if you think Calgary deserves to keep playing in the playoffs=) But, if you do deside to do it, then you would know what it would be like to be a Flame. Dirty! Except Kippy....He's just cocky! Hands down the best keeper in the league next to Brodeur.

That will only be till this evening so you'll be okay!! LOL!!!

And to that Matthew guy--if a good player wasn't born in your state you can't be a hockey fan?? When did they pass that rule?

I suggest that action depends on the folks around you. If you are a hermit, it may work.
