I am fixing some concrete steps, and I will be taking some ciment off and I will need roughly 1/4 cubic meter of concrete for the repair. I will be pouring over existing ciment, so what kind of mix do you suggest?

You can buy 3 bags of cement called thin set cement for this kind of repair for about $50.00 Canadian. Home Depot or Rona would sell it.Good luck

I live in America and will agree with the above as I not sure of your costs, but, it seem close to what we would pay.
I really not sure, but, when I pour concrete on top of existing concrete I clean the old off best I can. A pressure washer helps. This gets rid of dirt and debris and "in my opinion" would make a better bond of new and old.
Also it better to have too much, than not enough. I always look around before I start, and then if there is some mix left, I have a place I can use it for something, if, only filling a hole in my driveway.

1/4 meter of concrete is about 3 full wheel barrows as there are aprox 12 wheel barrows to a cubic meter. You can purchase sacrete with fibre and mix yourself. You will need 5 80lb bags for one wheel barrow and some muscle to mix. You may also call a u-cart concrete. They mix you quantity in a small dump trailer rig and you haul it and unload it. Their trailers will hold up to one meter.
