Recently I have installed an NVidia 7600GS PCI-E VGA with 512MB DDR2 RAM. But the problem is windows still recognize my RAM as 1013MB. I have Dual-channel DDR2 (512 x 2) RAM installed. How can I get this problem solved. Basically I can't remove the on-board VGA slot right? How can I disable on-board VGA on this original intel mother board?

Your 2x512Mb is system RAM. Your 512Mb on the videocard is videoram. You do not add videoram to system RAM.

Once you plug in a videocard, the motherboard BIOS will NOT allocate a portion of RAM for the integrated graphics processor.

Your graphic cards memory & RAM are different.
You can disable your onboard card by going to your bios setting
