My Q was working fine, but this morning I noticed a black screen even though I had it on the charger. Normally, there's a battery symbol. Hopefully someone out there has an easy fix for this. Thanks everybody!

Try taking the battery out and putting it back in. Phones nowadays will freeze up on occasion and this usually resets them.

I've had my cingular sync for almost 2 months & a while back the screen went blank. I could make & receive calls, but couldn't see anything. The lady at cingular took out the battery & sim card, then put them back in. It has worked fine since then. Hope this helps!

If that doesn't work, assuming that the phone is new take it back to the store. I'm taking your "just got it" to mean within like the last week.
