Hamsters main activity is finding and hoarding food. As with any other small rodent, like a rat or mouse, hiding food is a natural survival technique. If you look at mice and rats and rabbits, they are all burrowing creatures....they go in and make a nest, then they stockpile food in their "home". I suppose it's a sort of security issue, like if you were to take the food away, they could still survive on the little piles that they've hidden. Every time I've had a hamster, I've had the same exact experience.

i'd not reccomend the timber shaving form bedding. in case you bypass to great Pets, or Petsmart, or perhaps Wal-Mart, there's one of those fluffy bedding it truly is equipped in a clean %. with a eco-friendly the front. I forgot the call of it, even if it truly is equipped specially numerous hues. i trust that it truly is most suitable for hamsters, and all of my hamsters seem to delight in this type extra effectual.

that's what hamsters do. the word "hamster" is German for "hoarder" from them putting food in their cheek pouches. they all rearrange their bedding all the time. it's just what hamsters do.
