Why is it that when I walk around broad daylight I often have a nose bleed?

Due to rupture of small blood vessels, running all over the nose, due to excess heat. Keep a hanky, dipped in ice or ice cold water, keep in on bleeding nose. It stops. Ware a cap always. Take care, good luck.

Don't know but it's certainly worth the price of a doctor visit to sort it out...

You should get your blood pressure checked. It might be high.
