It's about respecting the office. You can disagree respectfully but what's happening here and what liberals do around the country is nothing short of treason. They question his leadership, his intelligence, mock his qualities as a public speaker, lie about his motives and intentions. They are emboldening our enemies and that's not the same as loyal opposition.
Liberals have a track record of being wrong throughout History

It is not anti American to disagree with the so called president. It would be anti American not to say what you think is best for this country. I for one think we could do better for a president. Bush only went into office to start a war. His daddy's old war. He doesn't have our nations best interest as his first priority. He never did.

Anti-American? You must be watching too much O'Reilly. It might be anti Conservative to disagree with the President, but that will probably change with the next election. (That is if the Democrats actually put up a real candidate for a change!) Check out Keith Oberman (MSNBC - Countdown) He disagrees with the President all the time and nobody has taken his flag down!

I'm often amazed at the responses on this site. Disagreeing with Bush is emboldening the enemy and is bordering on (if not actually) treason? Are you people nuts? Throughout the history of this country, people have disagreed, often vehemently, with the sitting President and his policies. That's how it should be. Anything else is a dictatorship, even if its limited (at worst) to 8 years. What kind of sheep sit there and listen to the president, especially this one, and believe every word? What is wrong with these people?

i'll tell you what's american about when we disagree with him. It's because we're staying true to our freedom. Just because one person says something, one person of power, we should automatically forget our beliefs and trust his instinct? ha. We're American and free and if we want to disagree, it makes others angry because they don't see that freedom. Or they want to restrict it to government and hollywood. lol. It's anti-american NOT to disagree at some point with the president. I mean, he may be smart, but does that necessarily mean he's ALWAYS right. I say yea to the America that speaks. Thats very much American to me.

Check out the Dixie Chicks. They were practically banned from America for one comment. And now look at them, three years later, 5 grammy awards, and people are finally saying, "yea, they were right, weren't they?"

That statement is not true, it is anti-American to blindly follow along with a president if you believe his actions are wrong.

It is not. A real patriot respect dissent. Bush is probably the worst and most dangerous president in American history.
Its unpatriotic to support him.

because to disagree with Bush, means that we are cuddling with the terrorists. we are anti-american, and anti-god.
we must agree with the president in regards to Iraq, and immigration, otherwise we are "empowering those who want to do us harm" (bullshit)

I've always wondered that too...just because someone disagrees with your views you're automatically anti-American...

I've always hated Bush, i think he's a moron...but i DID SUPPORT him until he went to Iraq, i never agreed with that decision...he no longer has my support or my respect.
