Mozart is music, Bach is music, the stuff I heard on the car radio by the nine inches nail is just vulgar garbage! They take classical radio stations off the air. None of the great music is on tv. The rip out organs and replace them with rock bands. What can be done. We are becoming a nation of uncultured stupid people.

You know I agree 100%
BUT!!!!
They said the same when Mozart and Bach around.
They said the same in the 50's 60's, 70's etc
So, I'm not sure how it all transpires and becomes acceptable, but it does.
I for example have never ever liked mainstream music.
Once a decade goes by, that music I didn't care for much, becomes nostalgic. It becomes music to me. It evokes feelings and brings peace. I enjoy it, I search it.
So, it serves it purpose. I do digress and have out answered the question, but I feel your pain................lol

Uncultured stupid people??
Dude! Music is ALL about culture. That's why tastes change and music doesn't remain mired in the 18th century.
Ain't noting wrong with admiring the three Bs and any musician can learn a lot by listening to them. But really, don't you think the world would be getting sick of listening to those same songs and music styles for centuries if there were no alternatives?
Music of any form is a good thing. There are types of music I personally don't like, but I'm not about to decide what others should like or dislike. Difference is what makes the world go round.

Back when Mozart and Bach were starting out, they caused alot stir. People actually said the same things about them.
I don't think it's very cultured of you to call people stupid.
Mozart and Bach were the original headbangers, without them there would be no Nine inch Nails, so I applaud them.
Not all people who listen to NIN are stupid nor uncultured.
Get XM or sirius they have great classical stations

HOW DARE YOU

Just because it isnt what you like, doesnt make it garbage. Do you have ANY, ANY idea how difficult it is to play a guitar solo??

Yes, Mozart and Bach are great, and they excelled amazingly at the style of music they wrote.

Well, things change, society gets bored and moves on. It may sound like "garbage" to you, but to me its a symphony of wailing guitars, pounding drumbeats, rolling basslines, cascading keyboard effects, and advanced vocal work.

And FYI, alot of rock bands USE organs, including two that I am in, WHERE I PLAY THEM. So, dont judge.

One of my bands finished a song last week. We spent over a month working out every intro, every drumhit, and every last little detail, just like Mozart or Bach would have done if they were writing a song.

Here, go listen to THESE bands and tell me what they play isnt hard:
Dream Theater
Cradle of Filth
Metallica
Steve Vai (who did a Beethoven song on guitar, thankyou)
Van Halen
Jimi Hendrix
Iron Maiden

Its not "garbage" just because you dont like it.

Different people like different music, just because you like classical doesnt mean everyone that doesn't is an idiot. I'm sure there are still kids out there that like Mozart and stuff but the majority don't so radio stations won't play it. Times change an music changes but all the greats like Mozart and Bach will still be appreciated forever.

Do you even know anything about Nine Inch Nails or the viral marketing that has been going on with the new album? This site gives the info about it - http://www.ninwiki.com and I suggest you give a glance at it and see if then you would say that's not genius?

And as for the music itself, you may not like it, but that doesn't mean it's "loud noise", as you say. Some people (like myself) can actually see the intelligence that goes into making it.

As technologies has stepped forward, human beings have all started awaiting issues right here and now, for this reason human beings take much less care with their music. Bands that each physique has heard of now write "music for the hundreds", it is accessable and apparently uncomplicated to take heed to. those songs frequently stick to a matching music shape to a minimum of one yet another, have a team of no-skills wannabes in them, and frequently are aesthetically appealing. it particularly is what the society of right this moment needs and feels they want. That being reported, the only thank you to discover good, new music is i do slightly bit digging. i'm helpful you haven't any doubt heard of Rage against the device, gadget of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age and the Foo combatants, all of that are wonderful and ideal of their sound.

Because the loud noise as you call it has meaning, if you listen to the words of a lot of songs they are really touching, the writers write about their pain , happiness, triumphs etc...
Try listening some time to bands like GreenDay, Linkin Park, Papa Roach... they are really great bands with great songs....and i have listened to Mozart, i dont mind that type of music but i find it depresses me.... Loud music is good to release anger , great to sing along with and brill for dancing and fun. xxx
