what other cars are good on gas?

VW, Audi and Mercedes - since these are the main companies that import diesel cars to the USA. Diesel will always get better milage. Chev is mediocre at best - as are all the major US manufacturers.

As R1volta said, any 4 cylinder "can" get good MPG's. Example: as a tech in mid 80's I did a mileage test on a Ford EXP. When driven "EASY" this car ,ya ready, 41miles to the gallon IN THE CITY. Your driving habits have a lot to do with mileage.

Almost every 4 cylinder car is good on gas. Every company make a fuel efficient line of cars.
