Economic factors: class (whether or not you own property or the means of production; whether you can afford a nice suit to wear to a job interview; whether or not you can afford to buy a house; whether or not you can afford a damage deposit in a nice place to rent ...)

Cultural Factors:

Race: the media plays a major role in creating/maintainig stereotypes about people based on the color of their skin that lead to descrimination in the real world.

Language: persons who speak minority languages have difficulty gaining employment in workplaces where English is the official language and standard of practice

Religion: plays a factor as well, esp. AGAINST Roman Catholics, Muslims, and Jews to some degree in our society, even though Catholics represent the largest religious group.

Note: It is illegal to ask about religious denomination. However, like skin color and language, religion is still quite easy to detect in terms of job and other applications. When you are asked about where you graduated high school, leave it blank or try to find out what religious denominaiton your potential employer is, and match a high school accordingly.

On the other hand, enclave groups in society recruit members of their own race, ethnicity, religion, gender, and linguistic group, which is also a form of cultural descrimination.

I think that credit ratings are a form of economic discrimination, especially for poor people and middle class. Just think about it for a minute.
Being born into a cycle of poverty (multi-generational), happens more often than we would care to admit. This is a cultural factor. And usually because of government programs getting cut, there is no way out.
