well, i am American, so not sure how much 5 pounds translates to , but it doesnt sound like very much,,,, so i would buy, in this order,,,,,, a newspaper (to look for jobs), a big pack of toliet tissue,,,, a pack of baby wipes (in case i became homeless, i could wash off with them-to be clean to look for jobs), a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter,,,,

I'd be fine about that, not impressed by money, the only thing you can do with it is spend or save it, I'm just happy with what I have.
