Hi I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my belly button has done about the same thing. I seen my doctor about it and he told me this can happen sometimes during pregnancy with all the hormones especially towards the end like you and I are. He told me to put some alcohol on a q-tip and rub it around on my belly button a couple times a day. Since I have been doing this mine is not bothering me anymore. You may want to call your doctor just to make sure but maybe this will help you some.

Ok go to the doc if you are feeling depressed....irritability runs with depressiona nd maybe thats why these things are bugging you.

Also check for a yeast infection. Pregnant women are also more prone to yeast infections ..that may be causing an odor.

As for the itchiness, if your skin is stretching and right around the 33 week mark you Definately get bigger as does the baby, that could be it...try coca butter cream.

personally i would call the doc on call today and be as honest as possible and see what they can do for you.

I don't know if it's normal, that has never happened to me but it doesn't mean that it's not. Do you have your belly pierced? It could be an infection. Is the liquid clear? It could just be sweat.

Other than that, this is the first time i have heard about this, I'm sure it's nothing serious. i would ask your doctor about it to be on the safe side.

And try not to worry about it too much, remember the baby feels what you feel. Keep happy thoughts.

Good Day,
First off let go of the depression, your attitude during this pregnancy will be a reflection of your child's life. Meaning you depress, baby is depress; you happy, baby is happy so, do your best to be happy and true to yourself from this point forward. Your next problem with the belly button, use some type of moisturizer with a coco butter, Shea butter or a vitamin E base. That with help to relive the dryness that's causing the itching feelings. Your last problem you should seek medical attention. It could be something very simple and easily treated. Being it a physically problem you should trust in your Dr. Good Luck!!!

Your itchy belly button has nothing to do with your pregnancy. You probably have some sort of fungal infection or something in there. Try some neosporin or see your doctor.
