Do you mean "resetting" your router? If you reset it to factory defaults, then any knowledgeable answer would have to include the type of changes you made from the default settings. Is it wireless? Did you set up MAC filtering? Does it have a built-in firewall? Built-in security features?

If you just took it out the box, plugged it in and started using it, then it shouldn't affect everyone else. They may only have to recognize it again, or allow it access through the firewall again.

You must mean "resetting" your router, right?
I'm not sure, but I think if you do a factory reset on your router, you will just then need to re-apply any new "custom" configuration changes to the router itself (settings you may have changed from the default). You should not have to change settings on the other computers in your network. At least that's my guess.

absolutely.. but you try for better results..i suggest that you keep your router on always when you're using network games or the like.... i think you dont have to. just connect those pc's to the router.
