Hi, I recently had a shark too causes unknown. Theres two of them in there but only the one was breathing heavy and swimming restlessly. It would continually flash its self against the sand pretty hard normally on one side of its body but had no sign of ich or any other external parasite that I could see. Any Thoughts?
Second I had a V-tailed grouper thats only been around for a week or two that just turned up dead in the tank. He never really did take to eatting only saw him eat one shrimp in his time with me. He was about 2 inches long and just turned up dead. From what I know their supposed to be tough in terms of fish and the panther grouper I have (never bullied this guy) is doing great. I checked for external parasites and found none.
Lastly, got two eels (chainlink and snowflake) that used to get along but now they dont. Just curious if anyone knows how to curve the chianlinks aggression towards the snowflake. Im about to buy a cattle prod lol. Thanks for your help.

Yes I have SLIGHT water quality issues but from what ive read on groupers they should have been able to withstand them. And as for compatibility im pretty sure thats what i said with more words... Both eels came from the same tank, both hung out together for 1 week and now ones dominant. Please dont state the obvious just help. On a side note dealing with water quality. My water parameters are all good with the exception of two things. Nitrite is up to .25 and wont budge and my ph reads low. The kh test changes at 10 drops which is on the higher end of things but the ph wont raise. When my LFS tested they said i had the same parameters as their reef tank. Are they full of it and should i get another ph raising product. PH is at 7.8 on the test scale.

Your ph level should be higher, as it is only 7.8 that would drop a bit over night, it needs to be about 8.2 to 8.4. Your carbonate hardness also helps keep your ph level right so if your carbonate hardness isn't right then you need to fix that to help keep it up.

Firstly, UP THE ******* IRONS :) Secondly, of course there's love for those albums! (: We love Iron Maiden and hence will always be there to support them =) It's true a lot of people don't like the post 2000 albums but man, I've always loved 'em. In my opinion AMOLAD is the least kickass one of the three, but that doesn't mean it's bad at all! :) It's still fantastic! Iron Maiden are an amazing talented band and should get credit for everything they've done =D . Steve, Dave, Bruce, Adrian, Nicko & Janick ♥ Here are my three favourite songs: Brave New World: - Blood Brothers - Brave New World - The Thin Line Between Love And Hate Dance Of Death: - Rainmaker - Dance Of Death - Journeyman A Matter Of Life And Death: - These Colours Don't Run - Brighter Than A Thousand Suns - The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg Long live Iron Maiden (: \m/

I agree with the water quality and compatiblity. Also size of tank might be why they are not getting along. All of the breeds you are taking about require alot of tank space.

You have water quality issues. And you have compatibility problems.
