I feel Lara should have contnuied playing tests at the same time I would love to know the view of circket lovers.

Every cricket fan's wish is Lara should have contnuied playing tests .
when other playeris captaining the side , he has no
extra burden of responsibilities.
And he is really looks fit & still has his spark.
we miss him.

Biran Charles Lara's retirement from both forms of cricket is a great blow to the lovers of the game. Lara's retirement no doubt is a void which cannot be filled in by any player, but it's his own decision and no one knows what is going on in his mind. He had a couple of years of cricket left in him and may be he has taken his decision pre-maturely accepting the moral responsibility for West Indies not qualfying for the World Cup semi-final.

It appears that Brian Lara does not have the support of all team members and there are groupism in the team. Since he is nearing 38 years of age, I feel that his decision to retire from international cricket has been taken at most appropriate time as if he continues to play and fails in couple of games, he will not be able to retire more gracefully than now.
