I was told as a child that Black pepper does not digest, the seeds are not good for you.I only use Red and white because of that.My Grand mother was Indian,so what she said was taken serious.The Red is spicey but good.You're probably right, everywhere I go they have Pepper and salt on the table.

Love it an all food especially eggs or baked beans, black pepper straight from the grinder. Yummy.
