If there was the all white awards, white entertainment television, National association for the advancement of caucasian people, united caucasian college fund?

That is exactly the point rob, in this scenario how does racism become extinct

From the answers i've read most of them are past tense, i.e. "we were" "you had" in order to move ahead into a world where "love see no color" don't groups like the ones I mentioned and any racial groups need to be eliminated

Yes , it would be seen as being Racist.....but I agree with you....that the opposite , is racist as well ie Black Police Federation........The song and Film "White men can't jump" !

We are seen to be looking after the minorities....but all discrimination is discrimination......I have been "Positively" discriminated against.......and it isn't very nice ! But apparently , that was Politically Correct....so it must be OK !

Apple_twist: You are ignorant about the past and the present. You say, "White people already have all the advantages." How so? How do white people have those advantages? Do we have white awards, white entertainment television, etc..? NO! Just because something isn't labeled as "white" doesn't mean that it IS "white". Are you too stupid to see this?
You say, "It's always been this way so why would society dedicate these things only for white people." Well, why should anything be dedicated only for black people?
Why should anything be dedicated for ANYONE? As I've heard many people say, SEPERATE is NOT equal. This statement is so true! And what advantages have white people always had? Please elaborate. Personally, I can say that I don't have any "white advantages". Care to debate?

What makes you think that every white person has no problem getting what they want? I resent this attitude, as I have always had to struggle for everything that I have gotten. Yes there are already White awards, what do you think the Oscars is? 90% of the people who win are white and 90% of the people who attend are white. There is no need for National Association for Caucasian People, you no nothing about blacks, if you did you'd know that 50-55% of the people on the board of NAACP are white, and mostly everyone but blacks get helped by NAACP (reason why I could care less about it) if you don't believe me go to Houston and see for yourself. Better yet email them. Plus there is also no need for United Caucasian Fund because UNCF already gives money to white people. Again if you don't believe me call them up yourself and ask for statistics. I already have.

There really is no organization out there that only help blacks, in Education or government matters, reason why Prairie View A&M University issued a Scholarship only for black students because blacks were complaining and protesting about not getting financial from anyone.

Believe me I've looked. If you don't look for yourself.

White people already have more advantages than minorities. It's always been this way so why would society dedicate these things only for white people. Wouldn't that be a bit selfish since they already have no problems getting what they want from society? Black people and other minorities have had the disadvantages served to us because of racism and stereotyping. So that is why there are people out there that put aside entertainment television, scholarships, fund raisers and things of that nature for minorities so that we too can have a fair chance of moving forward. You do remember when black people couldn't vote right? But white people could. There were many things that we were not entitled to but the white society was. We were denied of our rights for many years. Don't you know your history? So why can't minorities have now what they could not have had before?

everything that is not a "black awards" or BET on television is ALREADY predominately white! Before there were black awards shows or a black entertainment channel the television programming was ALREADY all white! the awards shows TO THIS DAY are predominately white. Why would it even be necessary to create specific awards or channels when they already cater to you. Let's keep in mind, when MTV first appeared on telivision, it was ALL white and did not allow black videos to be show... so what options were left for african americans at that time? NOT produce music or make music videos? or fighting the system and creating a way around the system in order to have the same right?

And of course we would need organizations to fight for our advancement. Hello0O? we were denied BASIC human rights (like freedom and education) by a GOVERNMENT!!! Organizations like the NAACP and UNCF are in place to prevent this from happening again and to ensure that we have EQUAL opportunity and EQUAL treatment. (unlike white people, black people were also denied access to funding and resources for education. It would only make since that we establish ways of funding it)
People like you make it absolutely necessary to keep these organizations alive!!!

The black groups, events, etc. were established as a REACTION to racism and being excluded from WHITE groups, events, etc. The presence of people like Robert Shelton, Robert R, Ralph Kramden Dr. Isaac Yankem etc proves racism is alive and well. DEAL WITH IT! We have to.
