Forget any physical work. Thai people are generally more capable of that than us white people. Just today I saw to construction workers balancing around on a steel beam 30 meters up without safety equipment. It's best to get an office job or found your own company. Higher education will help you with that. If you have a degree in anything then just start contacting relevant companies in Bangkok and send them your CV. Thailand has very strict visa regulations and you'll need a work permit as well. Inform yourself about these at your nearest Thai embassy before making any major decisions.

Whoa, you don't know what developing countries are like, do you? Building and labouring here is generally done by Burmese illegal immigrants for maybe 50-100 baht a day.
Working in a bar, again, mostly Thais or trafficked sex workers from Burma or China. If you have a connection, you might be able to find temporary employment in a foreign run bar (some English or Aussie pub), but chances are slim of that. No degree, no work.

Why do you like to work in Thailand that much? Must have sound reason.. want to settle here or what? You need to have work permit to be legally working here in Thailand. There're lot of illegal workers in Thailand but mainly working in the fishery, construction and other labor in factories.
Since they're illegal immigrants, their employers are taking advantage over them for the pay and other benefits. Government is trying to make it right and offer an amnasty and legally register all of them so that they'll have better controls of immigrants and their employers.
