I'm a college freshman, and yet I still hate studying. What grade are you in? How good/bad are your study skills? Are you failing in school, are you college-age? However, just lie and tell your mother you're studying. Whenever she's around, grab a book or just print out some random history stuff.

i think not many people are going to agree with you on this one.. any sensible person who has been through this will tell you that your mum is doing this for your own good.. unless you've got a really good reason, i don't see how you'll convince your mum.. when i say good reason, i don't mean 'i'm sick of studying' or 'i'm just not interested in studying'.. those are lame, immature excuses..

U must study at least 3 hrs a day if ur x ams are near. ne way ur doing it or ur own good!
