I know it sounds stupid, but take the radio out and check that the previous owner hasn't wrote it on the casing. We bought a second hand car and took it to the ford dealer and they checked the casing first. Other than that go to your local ford dealer they will tell you, for a charge.

Quite easy, phone a few local second hand car dealers. They usually have the equipment to tell you what the code is, they charge around £20.

If you can give me the serial number (begins with M) I can give you the code. Try pressing and holding the preset buttons 2 and 6 as this may give you the number I need. Post it on here as an addition to your original post and I will look up the code for you

I had a friend with the same issue. He called his dealer and they told him it is normally hidden somewhere in the car. On Hondas and Accords, it is either on the outside of the glove box when it is open, under the ashtray or coin tray, or inside of the center console. It is just a little white sticker with it typed on it. Hope this helps. If not call your dealer in the area.

you will have to contact a ford main dealer who will ask to see the cars log book as proof of ownership

You will have to have the code reset. Generally places like Halfords and that can do it for you. They will reset it. It costs about £10
