There is no treatment for post (or after) a herpes outbreak.

There are several kinds of herpes and diseases caused by the herpes simplex virus, so it kind of depends on what kind of herpes you are talking about.

Genital herpes is usually suppressed with daily antiviral medication. Some people (including me) only take the medication when they are actually having an outbreak instead of every day.

But other diseases caused by the herpes simplex virus, like the chicken pox (herpes simplex virus 3) don't need any medication after the symptoms have gone away.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about 5 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I understand loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/NpYkx everything changed.

Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program gave me back the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

Are you talking about Post Herpetic Neuralgia? There are alot of treatments with pain relievers and even physical therapy in some cases. It really depends on the patient and how severe his pain is. There is also a physician called a Physiatrist (I think the spelling is correct, sounds like fizz i a trist) That is a pain specialist, we have used this type of Dr. on many occasions for our post herpetic patients. Good luck to you.
