I have felt discriminated against a few times when I've mentioned my beliefs, but I usually don't feel the need to go around telling people what my beliefs are except in cases like your question.
I think there will be more discrimination against Atheists because of what I see so many Atheists doing, which is chiding religious people and insulting them for their beliefs. That behavior is as radical as any religious radical.

Anti atheism is doing lots injury to Christianity that it is extremely anti Christianity – David Manley It takes rather basically one to make a quarrel. it is ineffective for the sheep to bypass resolutions in favour of vegetarianism, whilst the wolf maintains to be of a various opinion. - William Ralph Inge. Why so ignorant of what reasons the backlash against christianity? all the different religions and atheists stay in peace and are basically attacked by employing undesirable christians which reasons all good christians to melancholy on the wear and tear they do! Up until eventually approximately 40 years lower back Christianity exchange into thriving and there exchange into no conflict with others yet in basically those few short years the well known christians are starting to be illiberal, hate crammed, bigoted and persecuting ensuing in a starting to be backlash against christianity and inflicting christianity to unfastened over ten % in below a decade with the loss accelerating! The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only concern which could stop it is to desert the poor human thoughts, seek for to rediscover the belief of a loving god and act like it! Posts like yours thatpersistent human beings added far off from God are employing you in direction of hell. So who're you working for the devil or the antichrist because of the fact it helpful ain't the loving god!

They are. Look at the studies. Far more Americans would vote for any other minority than an atheist. This is despite the fact they commit less crime and have higher levels of education than any other minority group.
I am an Australian, so no I suffer no discrimination. People who sprout religion here, get the same reception that a crazy man running around naked would get, people are scared and run away. ( only because most Australians prefer alcohol and sport to anything too deep).
PS It is not a my country is better than yours comment (every time I make a comment and about not being American, there are all these nasty replies about how US is greatest country in world etc)

Yes. But at least I don't live in a country like Iran where they kill non-believers. I still don't reveal my agnostic/atheist position to the people I know, especially Christians. I know they would misjudge me on the spot, as many of my family already have
(especially my mother who is born again and continually threatens hellfire and so forth).
If I can't get tolerance from my own family, what can I expect from society at large?

The figures seem to show that atheists are indeed the most discriminated group.
In America, that is. Here in RestOfWorldLand nobody blinks an eye.

Boo hoo. Wah. CNN said that I was a big victim, so I'm going to ride that wave as far as it takes me.
Society is so unjust. My freedom of speech is under attack. I'm so powerless against the world. I'm in such pain. Woe is me. Somebody should interview me for Time magazine, because I'm such a sad little victim.

No that would be African Americans.
Atheists discriminate the most against others in America then scream they are the ones being discriminated against, they are just the noisiest.

If that's the case, it doesn't necessarily folow that they are the most discriminited against. What about African Americans, older people, and other visible minorities...
And how would one measure this accurately?

No. We are not delusional. We do not believe something just because a book, media, or leader says it's true.
