Is adultery a mental disorder or a sin?
Is pre-martial sex a mental disorder or a sin?
Is fornication a mental disorder or a sin?
Sodom and Gomorrah had the three here plus your sex immortality as well. All are sins, none greater or lesser than the other. Sin is sin, period.
For those that just see Sodom and Gomorrah as a "homosexual" part of God's Word, are very closed minded and can't see passed the tunnel vision your preachers from the pulpits feed you.
There are only 12 places in the entire Bible that speak of unnatural sex, i.e. men laying with men, and only four of those passages speak of their woman turning to the unnatural. How many passage do we read about adultery? Over 300, 400, 500?
Answer these questions with 'a sin', you got your answer.
Edit~ Laptop J all sin is an abomination (Romans 1:26-30 speaks clearly of all sins, not just the sexual sins.)

God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.

In a way it's both. It's definitely a sin - it's a temptation from Satan. It has nothing to do with genetics, etc. You're not born gay, nor do you "catch" it. And when one gives in totally to the temptation it takes over their mind. So, in a way, it's also a mental disorder.

Homosexuality is not a sin. No one has been able to find out its true cause. What is sinful are homosexual acts which the Church considers as disordered. Homosexuals are called to a life of chastity and sacrifice.
Peace and every blessing!

From a Catholic perspective it is a sin for someone gay to have sex as it is a sin to have sex out of wedlock or break any of the ten commandments, priests can be gay as long as they are celibate as is required for heterosexual priests, gays should be respected, not abused under any circumstance however it is a sin and it does not matter what their sexual desires stem from...I pray for them and hope they find peace.

First off Jill you need to wake up seriously.
No is the answer to both questions.People do not choose to be gay homosexual or bisexual people are what they are they don't choose it.For the narrow minded people, they would consider it to be a sin.also those who take the bible as literal.it is a guideline,it is important to get the message.but there's lots more the bible does not cover.lot's more to discover for those venturing to look beyond just the bible.

It is neither. If it is not natural, why are there gay animals? Did they sin? Do they have a mental disorder? The only mental conditions any gay person ever has is given to them by people lying about them, who they are as people, and saying how worthless they are and then still discriminating against them, usually in God's name. Thankfully, my God is not a sick, lying bigot.

Any answer submitted in response to your question that does not support your opinion about homosexuality will not change your attitude about them. I think it is neither of the choices you give to choose from. Homosexuality is as natural a characteristic in our population as heterosexuality is. I don't understand the furor heterosexuals exhibit over it. Homosexuality is just another variable that exists in our society.

Neither you idiot. It is a sexual preference people are born with. Your bigotry and ugliness is disgusting, you should repent to someone RIGHT NOW!!!
Seriously though, you should get counseling to deal with your homophobia. You are no different to an ugly racist or chauvinist.
