God knows what your diet was before - probably a lot of junk food!
I never drink anything but water, and I never touch chips - in fact I have an aversion for anything deep fried, or even just fried.
Also I never ever touch any processed foods - anyway they are no good where I live.
Still, I have needed to shed about 20 lbs for a long time - and find it extremely difficult if not impossible.
My diet consists mainly of chicken, fish, vegetables and salads, plus pasta, rice and bread (admittedly, my bane).
According to the new thinking these cerals are OK, but I guess my metabolism hasn't heard about it yet.
I guess we are not all made the same.

Because everyone is different.
Your starting weight may of been a lot higher than other people trying to lose weight, so by making a small change you could lose weight.
I drink only water, eat pretty well and i do exercise each day.
All I want to lose is 13 kgs. If i lost anymore I would be underweight.
Like they say, the last 5kgs are the hardest.
Everyones body chemistry is different.
People have different rates of determination aswell.
Good for you for losing it.

They say it's hard because they want results within 24 hours. 10 weeks is just too long for some people to imagine. You did a fantastic job, keep up the good work!

rate of metabolism varies from person to person.
first time dieters have more success.
crash dieters (undereating, yo-yo dieting) have the hardest time to lose weight since they have slowed down their metabolism by depriving, starving cycles before.
and a lot of people think that diet is a sprint, but its not - its a way of life, you cant do it only for a certain amount of time (2 days, 2 weeks etc)
