It's just a story... don't read too much into it. Just like star trek, it doesn't make any sense when you think about it too much.

'Like. . .'My goodness, you people need to study the subject for yourself before you ask stupid questions.
Read the freakin' Bible!
1. Satan wasn't evil when created.
2. If we all behaved exactly right (and therfore exactly the same), we wouldn't have free will.
3. Consider the fact that God (and Jesus) knew back then that if they created everything: Man would fall, humans would hate God, God would need to sacfice His only Son on the cross to endure all of our punishments, then He still needs to imprison Satan and the un-believers (which is quite the emotional strain for Him), then He still needs to put up with all of the faithful for the rest of eternity.
4. Humans where not created evil. Humans where sinless and innocent, until we met with the desire to be like God. Then, our pride caused us to rebel, at which time we fell into our condemned state (in which we still remain - hence the need for Christ's sacrifice).
5. Evil exists: Because God gave humans and angels free-will. Lucifer was the top ranked angel, God's 2nd in command, the 2nd most powerful thing in the universe; and like humanity, he chose to rebel because of his prideful heart.
Evil exists because humanity creates it. We will never stop creating it either. As long as we dwell in flesh, we cannot stop being sinful.

The devil was created beautiful. God obviously created him with a self will the same as us. He wanted to create creatures to love and be loved by. He wants us to choose to love Him, not to have to force us to love Him. Satan wanted to be more powerful than God and chose to rebel against Him. God doesn't make mistakes. We just don't understand everything there is to know about the universe and God.We are supposed to search for truth and to trust God. God is good and there is no sin (evil) in him. I would suggest you read through the whole Bible at least 1 time. It will help you to understand the nature of God. May God open your eyes to the truth. God Bless!!!

sin is not something you create. It is the act of negative freewill. If God created us as robots and wrote our programming so we couldn't sin, then what value would there be in that? What he did was create you and the angel we now call the devil, and he said, "be holy" and we decided not to be. That is sin. Sin is rebellion against God. He didn't create us to disobey himself. That would be absurd. His standard is perfectly good, and we blew it. The saving grace is that he figured we would, and so provided us a savior in Jesus Christ (God himself, incarnate). So, you can whine about being judged, or you can accept Christ, and have the judgment removed. That's not fair, but who wants fair when getting what we deserve ends in Hell? I'll take salvation any day.

No. everything God created was good. Including the devil, who was Lucifer, the most beautiful and loved of all angels, God prized him the most. But Lucifer was not happy with what God gave him, he wanted more, and even challenged God that God should worship "him". So God cast him out of heaven.
Sin came from man, God gave us freewill, to do whatsoever we want to do, He did not force of to obey, He never told us to have evil minds or to do evil. That's a lie from satan himself.
Without God, people's hearts are turn evil, they conjure up evil plans, devised by the devil himself. They are so full of hate and unforgiveness, they are easy targets-for the devils to drop ideas & suggestions. They drink it right in!
Everyone comes into this this life with a void or empty place, intended only for God to fill. That's why so many people drink heavy or use drugs, or steal things, try get rich, etc, is they're trying to fill that void, but no matter how many things you try, nothing fills it. It's like a big black hole, inside your heart, that only God can fill.
I know. I tried. I drank alcohol til I threw it up, and kept on drinking. I used every kind of drug, I stole things, and I lied to God and myself, tying kill the pain. Everything i tried to solve my problems, only made things worse. The last the things i wanted to do say I couldn't do it by myself, or that I needed God. I was a "Rebel"! It wasn't until I had reached the end of myself, that I I finally asked God for help.
We are VERY stubborn by nature. some people never admit that they help, or that they did something wrong, instead they blame God, and choose to get even, or take revenge on others instead, But sooner or later, EVERYONE comes to the same fork in the road,
You can argue, deny God exists, etc, but the more you fight God and run from Him, the harder things will get in your life, until you do surrender. First God whispers, if ,you don't heed that, He throws a pebble, to get your attention. If that doesn't work, He throws a brick to thump you in the head, to wake up and look what you're doing to your life. If that doesn't get your attention, you get hit with a brick wall, if you STILL ignore Him, the whole wall comes down and crushes you. Sooner or later, everybodys has their own "wake up" call.
How bad do things in this world have to be, before someone will ask God for help? Why is it so hard to admit we need His help? That we screw things up? Why do so many people test God, and do so many wicked things, and think that God will always be patient with them, How far is this world going to push God? Do you think He'll withold His anger forever?? Do you think He doesn't hear or see EVERYTHING that goes on?
How far are "you" going to ask God to go for you? You think you'll never need any help? Do you think there will never be a time in your life, when something happens to you, or someone you know, that you won't ever need something bigger than yourself?
** Do you understand that hating God is evil? That's what the devil & wicked do, why would you want to be like them? Do you want God to harden His heart against you?
There ARE no coincidences in life..............................

god mostly created sin so we would have to chose between him and Satan god didn't want weak faithed followers he wants the ones who saw that he was the light the truth and the answer to all your problems and followed that all there life and still will in heaven and for eternity praising his name forever and ever amen. The way I see it this life is a test to see if we understand what god wants and as long as we repent and follow that we will be okay
hope that helps

evil is relative,
if you walked into a room and saw someone shoot their spouse in their hospital bed, not knowing anything about the situation, you might say that it was an evil act.
but if they are incurably dying, in constant agonizing pain, have their affairs in order, and are ready for it... the only kind, loving thing to do is let them pass.
its all about perspective. from God's perspective there is no "evil" because everything that is, has its reason and purpose, everything "just is"
its from OUR view that we distinguish "good" and "evil" as relevant to our own situations.
God indeed created everything, its more a question of purpose for existance, rather than good vs evil.

God did NOT create evil. He created free minded angels and free minded humans. He does not want robots to obay Him, he wants us to LOVE Him as a Father. Satan is an angel who wanted to take the place of God himself and people and angels to obay him.

I think we discussed this earlier?
God created Lucifer. Lucifer chose to rebel against God. Thus, evil was created in that rebellion.

Is there cold? No.
Is there darkness? No.
There is absence of heat and absence of light.
There is also absence of good (most people call it evil).
