You might have success with either Nero or with Alcohol 120.

He may have used a DVD-R CD. DVD-R CD's are used for burning video clips and regularly have 4 circumstances extra room on them than a CD-R. i'm no longer positive any opposite direction he would have in good structure 80 tracks onto a million CD-R.

Possible? Yes, but it depends on the burner and media.

You *can* buy CD's that are LONGER than 80 minutes. There are 90 and 99 minute CD-Rs out there. They cost a lot more, of course.

Depending on size of your mix, if it's just a TINY bit over, and if your burner supports overburn, you can try enabling it, and give it a try. However, it is NOT guaranteed to work, so don't blame me if you made a coaster (i.e. a useless burn).

You can burn a "JukeBox cd" which goes by file size rather than minutes. If you burn a "JukeBox cd" you can store up to 700MB of music on the cd. The only problem is that "JukeBox cd's" can only be played on a select few cd players. My dvd player can play them, and all computers have the ability to play them. On average I can store up to about 7 or 8 albums on one single "JukeBox cd".

you can do an overburn. it means burning over the capacity of the disc you have. if you decide to do this, i suggest burn in a slow speed, and dont overburn more than 5 minutes.

overburning doesnt guarantee perfect copies, so prepare lots of blank cd's.

it says on your burning software that overburning will not guarantee functional discs, and it may cause damage to the disc and your optical drive.

overburning function is available in some burning software [nero is one] and is accessible through advanced options.
