Mormons would have respect for the Quran and any other religious books.

I can tell you for sure they wouldn't do anything, except maybe ask you about. Believe it or not, the Mormon church (LDS) generally encourages its members to learn about other religions, and not shun them. Of course they believe they are the only true church on earth, what church doesn't think that? But, learning about other churches opens the mind and heart. And, if you were willing, they would share some ideas to you.

Your question suggests that if they knew you had a Quran they'd melt or at least run away screaming. Sorry to disappoint you, but they would most likely see it as a great learning opportunity if anything at all.

I'd make sure there wasn't a bomb in there too. Just kidding. I wouldn't do anything. I'm not stupid, I know that there are Muslims out there. And guess what, there is a high probability that they own a quran. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't help you. Its kind of weird that you would think that you pulled one over on guys that were helping you out or working for you.

they may have recommendedthe book of mormon........the answer will vary between different mormons, you did not specify if you are a christian who just has a copy of the quran so any answer is merely speculation. they ,may have dropped all your boxes, chastised you or other, they may also simply have ignored the book and respected who you are. the possibilities are numerous. iam not mormon so i don't know.

Mormon boys, and or missionaries are taught that to serve others. you are serving God. We want to serve and help others. It is part of the priesthood responsibilities that acquire when they are ordained to the priesthood. They would not have cared what was in the boxes. They would have just been concerned about helping you and being a good Christian.

Ha, I really doubt they would have done anything bad. Mormon missionaries are normally very helpful to people from all walks of life.

Continue to help you, cause that's the kind of people Mormons generally are.. they might ask some questions about it too.

Have a great Day! :-)

The sentiment of carrying your books is nice and demonstrates they have more an a passing interest in you. I'll bet they'd be interested in the contents of the Quran, if just out of curiousity.

As far as acceptance as a sacred book, they already have several, and will want you to read theirs instead.

Approach any subject of religious beliefs with tact, dignity and and firmness, but remember, the mormon church is on a crusade to convert the world...
