all tony is doing is what he does best drive and race he is a true racer the rules and the way they race now is bull back in the day the bumped banged and everything else and no one said anything what the hell do you think dale sr did he would but you in the wall in a minute without thinking about and you complain about him now and next week you will be loving him find a driver and stick with him won lose or draw or whatever and if tony leaves nascar than what you wont have anyone to talk about everyone of the drivers complain about something and if you are going to call someone a whinner you better look and listen to that earnhart he thinks that everyone should let him win because of his father but tony jeff and others fought there way though the ranks unlike JR he made his name because of his dad thats why no other team will hire him he needs to do what ever it takes for him to stay with dei since he helped run it into the ground so if tony leaves who are you going to complain about next........

With so much pressure put on all these guys by owners/sponsors I almost can't blame Tony for being the way he is. While he does have a bigger "anger management" problem than other guys, you can't deny he is a hardcore (and skilled) racer. Just look at all the races he does outside of Cup (where he doesn't make nearly as much $$). He's not my favorite but people should cut him a little slack IMO.
BTW putting the bumper to someone isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as you don't wreck the guy of course. That's what full fendered stock cars are all about.

You know, you all bash Tony, but the truth of the matter is EVERY SINGLE one of you forget that he has won at EVERY sport that finds him behind the wheel. Right down to r/c cars. And I have heard many of his peers call him the greatest driver of the era, that's a hard pill to swallow for all you Jeff Gordon fans, with all his 76 wins and 3 cups yet Tony Stewart a guy who has 2 cups and 28 wins is the driver of the era, come on. When DW and Larry Mac rave about him and say that if you slapped a steering wheel and an engine on a brick Tony would drive it, AND WIN... that has to suck, I have yet to hear anything even remotely similar said about another driver. You all can hate, but you know it's Tony that all the drivers want to be infront of, cause he is the only one who WILL flat out run them down, leave them choking in his dust.

So people would love to see the guy retire, or try his hand at another form of auto racing. Last time I checked he is an IRL champion, and rookie of the year winner, he is a triple crown winner, and he is a multiple winner of the cup. I wont even list his owners titles as it is probably above most of you haters. I would love to see someone like J. Gordon try his hand at F1 or the IRL, would love to see it an actual race or a whole season not just taking a car out for laps. It wont happen, but I would pay double the money to any race it happened in.
Stewart can retire whenever he wants to retire, and when he does racing will have lost a legend. You can believe that or not it doesnt matter to me. Every driver has wrecked or wrecked someone else out, and they all have whined about and defended themselves, Stewart is no different. Get off your soapboxes and pay attention to what other drivers do, and what they say after a race and you might be able to stop looking at everything through rose colored glasses. Gordon, Earnhardt, Johnson, Kenseth, Busch brothers, and a ton of others do the same thing, complain about everything that happens when they dont win.

I agree, Tony Stewart is a crybaby, can't get his way. Maybe if he would just stop racing in a few of the races and watch it from our viewpoint, in the stands like us race fans, maybe he will learn something about the real race going on at the track. I do agree that Tony dose need to respect the drivers more, than what he does. I know that sometimes those drivers get on each others last nerves, but that is the sport of racing, trying to see who will get to the finish line first.

Tony Stewart is more like "the Intimidator " than any driver since Curtis Turner. He brings a passion to racing like very few before or since. If your Dad ,brother or even a close friend had to take the adolescent abuse heaped on Tony you would probably look at this deal a lot differently.I see some small-minded people talking about not needing "haters",what do you consider yourselves to be?Practice what you preach,if you don't want "haters" around then don't hate others. It's people standing up to boo(a cowardly act, done in the safety of a mob)who are the true haters.I doubt that any of the creeps in the crowd would have the guts to do that one on one to Tony's face. The mob mentality that goes on in a crowd is pathetic,if your kids ever get into a sport and get booed by some selfish, childish loud-mouth you'll know how Tony feels. That's why he said what he did, disheartened frustration, brought on by cowards in a crowd.

Tony is the best race car driver of this era. Ok he complains, so does EVERY other person that has ever raced. It comes with the territory. And no he doesn't whine more than everyone else, he is just the only one that isn't afraid to say what he is really feeling to the media. Everyone expects a driver to step out of their car smiling like an idiot after he has just led a third of the race, yet once again had bad luck and finished second. I'm sorry, but that's not Tony. If it was, there is no way I would be a fan. I couldn't support a driver who was happy with finishing second. If you haven't heard, Tony doesn't want to retire. He said that out of frustration because of the year he has had so far. He shows his emotions and that's why I am a fan. I don't want a driver who gives the same scripted, sponsor speech every race. ie Jimmie Johnson. I want to know how he really feels and with Tony I know.

Why is it that Tony and Harivck Both had been like the bad boys of NASCAR and causing problems and getting a slap on the hand and a few points taken away and a fine but never suspended from the sport now harvick has mellowed a bit tony has too some what but he caused a few drivers last year a real chance at winning the cup by being to aggressive and just reckless when he'd pass. and the past two weeks out of all the other drivers he was the one slamming into other drivers and the cause of two accidents.
He isn't worthy of being a NASCAR driver and should be stripped of his titles and his job. He can't retire fast enough for my likeing

WOW!!! i am so glad to see so many people hate Stewart like i do. Its funny how just last year he was just about as popular as Dale Jr. cause he had won the championship and now he's in al little slump and is complaining as any drivier would and people are complaining about him. He is just one of those drivers that speaks his mind, he always has and always will be. Just a couple of weeks ago on his Sirius radio show he was talkin to Kyle Busch and was sayin he was proud that Kyle spoke his mind about the COT. Are we goin to start sayin we dont like Kyle? I really dont like Stewart mostly just because my dad work for Lowe's and we root for Jimmie but ive grown a disliking for him over the years but seriously, the guy hints at retirement and you stand up and cheer. I say we let him race and do his job. And maybe hope he gets his foot caught climbing the fence.
