i bike 1hr a day.
this is what i eat:
breakfast - bowl of all bran with milk
lunch - sandwich with lettuce and cucumber
dinner - meat with veggies, with pasta or rice..

i drink water and eat fruit in between.

will this be effective in losing weight?

sounds good, also exercise a little after your last meal, but well before bedtime as not for the increased bloodflow to keep you awake when you want to sleep.

your diet looks ok if you really eat fruit in between meals (you could also get some more veggies)
it depends if its stationary bike or not. if it isnt then its not enough.
basically you need to do cardio 4-6 times a week (have one day a week for recovery) for 35-50min (you start burning fat only after first 30min) and do light weight training.

If anything you're not eating enough.. your body might decide that it is saving up the fat incase this fat fast goes on... your body needs some fat to survive and a constant supply of foods so that it doesn't go into lock down and hold onto everything you're working hard to lose...
You're doing great - add in a couple of pieces of fruit between meals so you're not staving yourself.

yes!!. biking helps a lot, and your not eating anything greasy or fattening.
