Skull fracture and or death is quite possible especially if you catch them in the temple or brown bottles are used (very strong)....hollywood doesn't use real glass when they break bottles over someones head....it's "sugar glass" which is VERY easy to break and doesn't result in razor sharp shards.
Hit someone over the head with a glass bottle and you'll probably end up in prison.

A friend of mind lost his sight in one eye because of this. He had to get a pupil sewn onto his eye ball to help him see again in this right eye. He has a little bit of vision back but well never see the way that we do again!

That is a criminal case for inflicting physical injuries. You might be prosecuted and be arrested by the police.
That is also a sin against God in inflicting injury to your friends and enemies..
Satan will laugh at you for doing it and will tell He got the victory.

no experience and no stories but i think that i could cause so brain damage because glass is a lot harder than it looks especially when you hit it on someones head.

correct, it would be just enough to break it. Unfortunately, the tensile strength of your average beer bottle is close to the tensile strength of you skull. I.E. if the bottle breaks, the skull breaks.
