The obvious thing to sell in a spa other than services are bath and skin products similar to what the spa uses. Scented candles and soothing music CDs as relaxation enhancers make sense as do make-up, hair, and nail products.
Gift certificates. Frequent client discounts. Referral bonuses.
If the spa has signiture robes that clients wear, that would be another thing to sell, along with those extra thick fluffy towels, shower curtains and bath mats in white or the spa colors.
Spas here push renting the spa for the day for bridal showers, birthdays and other events. That would lead to catering and food/diet related products and perhaps live entertainment. (Wouldn't you feel pampered to have live music playing while you were having your nails done?)
Yoga or pilates classes. Fashion or trunk shows.
Anything that makes a client feel pampered, more beautiful, more fit, more healthy, more relaxed, more strong, or more happy are worth considering.
