why are people constantly going on about how God does not exist, why do they always need proof, did not he create the heavens and earth?

The Bible says that God's wisdom is different from the wisdom of the world.

"The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom." -- Psalms 111:10

"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written: “He catches the wise in their own cunning."" -- 1 Corinthians 3:19

Most people are more willing to rather listen the "wisdom of the world" than the "good news".

"... the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through." -- 2 Corinthians 4:4

"For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories." -- 2 Thimothy 4:3,4

Simply because something exist, does not mean it was created by a divine power. There are rational, scientific reasons that explain how the earth and the heavens were formed. Try reading any of the books by Stephen Hawkings.

You are the one who has been deceived. This question is getting tiring, but e-mail me a couple photos of "God", or just any evidence that this person or whatever lives, or reigns over all organisms or whatever you believe in. No, he did not create the heavens or earth, sorry. Hey, if you can prove me wrong wrong though, go ahead. Give me some concrete evidence and I'll follow whatever you believe, but until that time, I'll stick with science and actual factual evidence.

You could make the same argument about how people believe in God. Like you said.. there is no proof. Therefore, you're beliefs could be completely wrong for all you know.

In the last days all will believe, and bow. But the shepherd knows his flock. And will tell all else I never knew you. It's all about faith. If you have seen him, and know him where is your faith then? Satan knows God, he believes more than mortals. But being rebellious, and unrepentant, his knowledge of God will not save him. Though I would guess that even Satan and his minions could get to heaven, in repentance, and asking forgiveness. For God would have none go to hell, but come to him freely.

When we are born our survival depends on accepting knowledge and suggestion from others(mainly our parents)whom we consider authorities. In the course of maturing it is our duty to determine for ourselves what truth and reality is. Many people do not have the courage or willingness to make that transition. As long as one is inclined to believe any outside source before his own inclinations he is easily deceived.

Hmmmm.....it's a two way street. No one is really any more "lost" without religion or God than someone who believes in God. It's all relative and everyone, yes everyone, could be wrong. Live & let live and don't worry about the folks next to you. It's up to them to live their life and unless it really interferes with yours, I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

I don't believe a god created the Earth. And I don't believe there is a heaven.

If there was a god, why would one have to "believe" in it? Why wouldn't this "god" show him/her/itself and say "Here I am! Be good humans!"?
