It is called a "bola" or a "bola de helado". Much less frequently, and in the area of Rio de la Plata, it occassionally may be called a "bocha" or "bocha de helado". But this is more a slang word for "bola de helado", and it is seldom used. Your best bet is
"bola de helado".

"Scoop of icecream" is bola de helado but "scoop" also means spoon for eating icecreams.

Depends there is no exact answer depends in what country you are in. places like mexico guatemala El salvador can call it diferent.Try using the corect word fore ice cream and spanish as i can asure u from speaking spanish these are like slang words.
