You're a lot nicer than I would be. 'It's none of your business"

What you're saying is you don't want to hurt someones feelings. OK, that is a thoughtful thing, but to a true Christian, that is a lie! Revelation says that no liar shall enter the gate's of Heaven. Lying is Lying ! Little or Big, it's still not the Truth. I would rather hear the truth and deal with it, then fnd out later that someone had lied to me. Truth will set you free, body and soul ! God Bless America !!

This would depend on the necessity of telling something that would result in truth and a good understanding of it for a good reason.

Well, WHAT happened, exactly? Just kidding. It is impolite for people to pry... but well within your rights to simply say "I'd rather not discuss it" or.. "Give me some time"

Good luck sweetheart...whatever did happen.

i would not go on ..as i have in the past and regretted it..i am not good when it comes to tact..and have made a fool out of myself ..causing people to get mad at me for asking personal questions..but that is just me..i am a nosy Parker...and i admit my shortcomings..

Yes, i would respect that.

It would be a particularly callous and careless person who would pry and prod someone after they've indicated they're not comfortable sharing.

Some people are nosy, but others are sincerely concerned about you because they care about you. They feel that you might want to talk about it to someone who cares. I would tell the ones that are just nosy, "I don't want to talk about it." and to your sincere friends, "I'm not ready to talk about it yet, but thank you for caring about me."
